{shimmer}{shimmer}{shimmer}.....now we fade into the past....the year is 2010. It's Monday June 28th and we are preparing for the biggest trip our family has ever taken together....

I attended a business networking function, at Beysley's in North Canton, Ohio. It's a really nice group of people; all involved in and concerned about the North Canton community. On a necessary, but negative note, Sgt. Darrow, of the Stark County Sherrif Department, attended and explained the investigation of Connie Phillips to the group. She had been representing a charity, aimed at helping homeless vetrens, which later turned out to be a scam. (NOTE: She was convicted and sentenced to jail time later in 2010.)

My next stop was a meeting with Dan LaHaie, of New Market Financial. I left this productive meeting and dropped off some drycleaning. We left a gel pen in the laundry and I wouldn't recommend anyone do that. Great way to buy alot of new clothes!

I was HUNGRY! Lunchtime was a stop at Manchu Cafe. Jeff and Jenny Yang were great as ever. Jenny reminded me about travel pillows for the airplane, so I stopped at Bed, Bath & Beyond. Finally, I made my way home. The kids had been at home; cleaning the house and washing the dogs (Brutus & Buckeye). I spent a couple hours, finalizing my notes about our travel plans and emailing them out to my sisters.

Believe it or not, it was time to think about dinner! I made a salad and grilled burgers for dinner. Then Brandon and I went to our Kung Fu class early, to watch the advanced class. It was really great to see bits of what we are learning in class, as beginners, being put into action. When we returned home around 10 p.m., I folded a load of laundry, while watching "Lie To Me". I'm ready for the rest of the laundry and packing tomorrow!
